What Qualifies Someone for Hospice

* Hospice services can be utilized when a person has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, when they have stopped all treatments aimed at curing the illness, and when a doctor certifies that life expectancy is six months or less.

*Hospice Care is also known as Palliative Care, focusing on the quality of life, patient dignity, comfort and compassion.

*Our team of professionals trained in end-of-life care work together to meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of the terminally ill patient and their loved ones.

*Hospice Care is not 24 hour care but it does provide nursing, aides, social services, volunteers and spiritual support for patients through the end-of-life process as well as their families for a year after the loss of their loved one.
