Freedom Fun Hour is a Resident Highlight at Heritage Care Center in American Fork

I was at Heritage Care Center in American Fork last week and had arrived shortly before Kristen, one of our Freedom Fun Hour girls was to arrive.  When I walked past the activity room saw a beautiful sight.  There were 20 residents patiently waiting for Kristen to arrive.  I asked them what they were there for and they confirmed..."Freedom Fun Hour with Kristen!"  It made my day. I told them I thought we ought to do a cheer when she arrived and they agreed.  We did the highly popular "Give me a K....K!!, Give me an R....R!" cheer. It wasn't very loud when I did it with them but once Kristen walked through the door they used every bit of excitement they could give. Her smile was the perfect Thank You to them and was exactly what they were waiting for.

 Our Freedom Fun Hour girls tailor the activities so that EVERY resident, no matter their limitations, can participate in some way.

 Heritage Care Center is American Fork is making such wonderful improvements for their residents throughout the facility.  You should stop in and take a tour, visit with staff and make a difference in a residents life.  They love having visitors!

 We don't like to call it "exercising", because who really likes that word! Kristen runs the residents through a warm up period, a fun movements activity and then cooling down.

 The staff at Heritage Care Center in American Fork are so amazing!  They love each and every resident and truly want the best for them.  They are so personable and caring, we really enjoy working with them.

Freedom Home Health and Hospice has been serving residents and staff in 14 different facilities for almost a year now and we have loved every minute of it!!
