Life in Motion at Golden Living in Orem

The residents at Golden Living Assisted Living in Orem, Utah are blessed beyond measure by a staff that understands "a life in motion is a happy life".  Because of this philosophy, residents are able to participate in several "movement" type activities each day.  The most recent addition to the activity line-up is called Life in Motion.

Life in Motion provides a variety of stimulating physical activities that residents of every level of functioning can participate in.  Under the direction of Mike Wood, PT,  team of licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants from Advanced Therapy Solutions have developed this program especially for Golden Living.

The ATS Team knows how to have fun

What started with just two residents participating has quickly grown to 15+ residents with more and more showing up each week.  The infectious laughter of residents and staff invites even the most demanding participants to join in the fun.   


Residents have had their own PBA (Pro-Bowling Association) Contest, raised the roof with the parachute pull and scored big with the bean bag toss. Each resident is assisted to participate at their own level meaning NO ONE is left out of the fun!
